PUBG Studios has set a date for Early Access: PUBG: Blindspot will launch on Steam on February 5, 2026, and it will be free-to-play on PC.
The studio describes the game as “a 5v5 team-based top-down tactical shooter that delivers fast-paced, strategy-driven combat with intense firefights and realistic gunplay.“ That marketing line leans into familiar PUBG ideas while switching perspective from first person to a tactical top-down view.
For the Early Access build, PUBG Studios says the initial release will include improved UI and visual quality, tighter control responsiveness, and balance updates compared to recent demos. The team also confirmed it plans to ship monthly updates during Early Access and that player feedback will be actively incorporated into future builds.
There was no timeline given for how long the game will remain in Early Access. Players can watch the announcement video here. Another recent PC Early Access date to note is Bladesong’s Early Access date, which is scheduled for January 22, 2026.
