PS5’s DualSense Faceplate can be removed for further controller customization

The PlayStation 5 is close to launching, with its accessories found to be an important part of normal consumer’s life. Having a customizable fashion is always much appreciated, and Sony probably hasn’t forgotten about it. This time, it’s a word about one of the most important parts of the PS5, the DualSense controller. The device that will be in your hands most of the time. It seems that the PS5’s DualSense controller will support faceplate change, just as shown in a recent YouTube video.

A YouTuber going by the name John Glasscock has made a video where he discovers the possibility of changing the DualSense controller’s faceplate, which is exactly what he did by himself. The black plate on the front of the DualSense controller, where the analog sticks are located, can be easily removed without using a special tool.

While we haven’t heard more about this, it seems that Sony aims to allow users to modify their PS5 controllers on the go. What’s also exciting is that the thumbsticks (thanks to their new design) can also be modified for a better grip. Overall, a pure 10. Check out the video below!
