This week’s PlayStation release calendar runs from September 1 to 7 and includes big names like Hollow Knight: Silksong and Cronos: The New Dawn from Bloober Team. The list covers the launches of PS5 and PS4, as well as a mix of indie and larger releases arriving in the next seven days.
Release Highlights for the Week of Sept. 1 to 7
Hell Is Us (PS5 – Sept. 4): Rogue Factor’s action-adventure Soulslike leans toward friendlier combat and more checkpoints than typical entries.
Hollow Knight: Silksong (PS5, PS4 – Sept. 4): The long-awaited sequel arrives after years of development.
Cronos: The New Dawn (PS5 – Sept. 5): The first original IP from Bloober Team after their remake work mixes sci-fi survival horror with time travel elements. Can Bloober replicate the success of their Silent Hill 2 remake? That answer will start to arrive when the game lands.
Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots (PS5 – Sept. 5): The latest Hot Shots Golf entry appears to be a tight arcade golf package, featuring character-driven mechanics and a focus on replay value.
NBA 2K26 (PS5, PS4 – Sept. 5): The annual court sim returns with roster updates, refreshed visuals, and the usual franchise features aimed at basketball fans.
A total of 18 titles will be available on the PlayStation Store that week, featuring new indie games, VR releases, and major retail names.
