With a reach of 102.8 million shipments, the Playstation 4 console has reached another milestone during its timeline. After Sony sharing its consolidated financial report and the amount of sold units with the public, it’s easy to notice the jump in sales, whereas Playstation 4 is the primary increase.
The first quarter of Sony’s fiscal year discovered the sales of PS4 were at 100 million and combined with this quarter’s 2.8, which would be 102.8 million. This has just made the PS4 become the second best-selling console of all time.
Alongside that, the PS4 hardware and entertainment software is noticing a slight dip in numbers. Even though the PS4 is supposed to be seeing a more substantial drop in sales due to the upcoming beast PS5, it still manages to find a decent ground.
As we’re moving through the quarters of a fiscal year, the forecast should predict a rather smaller number of purchases than a booming surprise. PS4 was first released in November 2013.
