Pokémon Sleep is introducing Neutralizing Mints and a Festive Flowers event to celebrate its second anniversary. These features will be available from July 21st to July 28th, offering new ways to get bonuses from your sleep research.

Neutralizing Mints and Festive Flowers

The Festive Flowers feature lets you plant seeds near Snorlax’s feet, which will bloom the next day and provide research bonuses. Planting a white seed rewards you with a Neutralizing Mint, a new item that removes the effects of a Pokémon’s Nature on its helping stats. This could be quite useful if you’ve caught Pokémon with great Sub Skills but unfortunate Natures.

Professor Neroli will gift you one Neutralizing Mint as soon as you start growing Festive Flowers. The event will run from Monday, July 21st at 4:00 a.m. until Monday, July 28th at 3:59 a.m.

Details on Neutralizing Mints and Festive Flowers

    • While the event is active, you can plant one seed daily in the planter by Snorlax.
  • Festive Flowers bloom when you log in the following day, even if you didn’t track sleep overnight.
  • If you forget to plant a seed, the game will automatically plant one from your stock for you.
  • Blooming flowers grant research bonuses, such as 2.5× candies from the first sleep research or 3× helper Pokémon Sleep EXP. These bonuses remain active for the duration of the event once received.
  • There are five seed colors, each giving different research bonuses.
  • You can view the bonuses linked to each seed color before planting.

Notes

  • Event bonuses apply only to sleep data tracked after planting a seed.
  • Each seed type can be planted only once.
  • The Festive Flowers feature will not be usable after the event ends. Future events may feature different seed types and bonuses.

Second Anniversary Gifts

Between July 20th, 2025, 4:00 a.m. and September 22nd, 2025, 5:00 a.m., players can claim special gifts in Pokémon Sleep to celebrate the second anniversary. Gifts include:

  • Sleep points x2,000
  • Main Skill Seed x1
  • Poké Biscuit x5
  • Friend Incense x3
  • Plusle Incense x1
  • Minun Incense x1

Players need to log in during the distribution period and tap the gift box icon in the game menu to claim these presents. If the gifts don’t appear immediately, restarting the app should help.

What do you think about the addition of Neutralizing Mints? Will they change how you prepare your Pokémon in Pokémon Sleep? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
