The Pokémon community is talking because the next Pokémon Presents is finally set for Tuesday, July 22, 2025. This showcase will air simultaneously worldwide, and fans will get fresh updates on upcoming titles and maybe some surprises. It’s a great moment to catch up on everything Pokémon as the franchise approaches its 30th anniversary!
The stream will start at 6 am PT / 8 am CT / 9 am ET / 2 pm BST / 11 pm AEST, so it’s early risers or night owls who will have front-row seats. The presentation won’t be live but pre-recorded, allowing for quicker language translations and a polished experience. Similar to Nintendo Directs, the video will stay online afterward for anyone who misses the premiere.
The biggest spotlight will probably be on Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which is due to release on October 16, 2025. Since the February showcase already showed some gameplay, July’s stream might focus on a new story trailer or reveal features we haven’t seen yet. I’m kinda hoping for some juicy tidbits!
There’s also chatter about the 10th generation of Pokémon, expected next year. Could July’s event drop the first teaser? Possibly, but I wouldn’t expect a big reveal just yet. That might be saved for Pokémon Day in 2026. Still, it’s interesting to think about what the next generation could bring.
Spin-offs like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and Pokémon Snap could also get some attention, or maybe even announcements about the next mainline remake. Black & White is next in line, but I’m secretly hoping for a Johto remake to celebrate its 25th anniversary this year. Fingers crossed, right?
Live-service games such as Pokémon TCG Pocket, Pokémon Go, Pokémon Cafe Remix, Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, and Pokémon Masters EX might have updates too. Plus, there’s talk about the upcoming Pokémon Champions game, so we might get some fresh info there.
