The Might and Mastery season in Pokémon GO is wrapping up with a global challenge that calls for trainers everywhere to send Gifts and unlock exclusive rewards. This event is a perfect way to connect with friends and snag some neat bonuses before the season closes.
Might and Mastery Finale: Strength in Numbers Global Challenge
Date & Time
- Starts: Tuesday, May 20, at midnight PDT
- Ends: Thursday, May 22, at noon PDT
Global Challenge
Trainers worldwide are invited to work together by sending Gifts to friends in Pokémon GO. The question is: how many Gifts can you send before the challenge ends?
Bonus Active During Challenge
- Trainers can open up to 50 Gifts daily until the challenge wraps on May 22 at noon PDT.

Reward for Global Challenge
Once the challenge is complete, all Trainers unlock the ability to gift free Special Research tickets for the May 2025 Community Day Classic: Machop, scheduled for Saturday, May 24, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. You can gift up to 20 tickets per day!
The giftable tickets will be available in the in-game shop starting May 23 at 10:00 a.m. local time (or possibly earlier) until May 24 at 5:00 p.m.
Tickets can be gifted only to friends with whom you have reached at least the Great Friends level. Note that recipients who purchased or received a ticket cannot be gifted another.
How to Gift Tickets
- Open the Map View and tap the Main Menu.
- Select Shop.
- Tap the event image or ticket you want to buy.
- Hit the Gift button.
- Choose a Friend who meets the gifting criteria. If they already have a ticket, an error will appear, so pick another Friend.
- Confirm your purchase.
- After a successful purchase, a confirmation screen appears. Tap OK to finish.
You can send up to 20 Community Day tickets daily. To send more, wait until the next day and repeat the steps. Other events like Pokémon GO Fest might have different gifting limits.
Once gifted, your Friend will get a notification from the app about the ticket. Remember, when sending a ticket, you must be at least Great Friends with the recipient.
