Pokémon GO is serving up a full plate from July 21 to July 27, 2025, with some fresh faces and familiar favorites making their appearances. Highlights include the Pokémon GO Summer Concert, the long-awaited debut of Honedge during the Steel and Scales Ultra Unlock event, and the introduction of Dynamax Latias and Latios in a special Max Battle Weekend. These events come alongside regular features like Spotlight Hour, Raid Hours, Mega Raids, and the ongoing GO Battle League Season 23.

Weekly Schedule Highlights

  • Max Monday (July 21): Dynamax Darumaka will be available in Max Battles from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, continuing through the week.
  • Spotlight Hour (July 22): Jigglypuff stars with double Candy for transfers from 6 PM to 7 PM.
  • Raid Hour (July 23): Lunala returns as the featured boss in Five-Star Raids during the 6 PM to 7 PM hour.
  • Raid Boss Update (July 22): Lunala and Mega Venusaur rejoin the raid pool, offering more opportunities to challenge these powerful Pokémon.

Major Events

Pokémon GO Summer Concert 2025

Running from July 19 to July 22, this global event celebrates Junichi Masuda’s music with special tunes playing during gameplay. Lure Modules will be more important than ever, and Shiny Chatot will appear more often at lured PokéStops. It’s a neat way to soak in some summer vibes while hunting for that shiny bird.

Steel and Scales Event

From July 22 to July 27, the Ultra Unlock: Steel and Scales event unlocks new Pokémon and bonuses thanks to Trainer efforts during GO Fest 2025. Honedge, Doublade, and Aegislash make their Pokémon GO debut. Shiny Rookidee also arrives, plus boosted shiny rates for Bagon and Beldum. Trainers can enjoy 4× XP and 4× Stardust bonuses during this period.

Dynamax Latias & Latios Max Battle Weekend

On July 26 and 27, Trainers will get their first chance to battle Dynamax Latias and Dynamax Latios in Max Battles. Costs for unlocking and powering up Max Moves will be reduced, and the Max Particle daily limit will increase, making these legendary encounters a bit easier to manage.

Raids This Week

Five-Star Raids

Lunala will be featured in five-star raids all week from July 22 to 28.

Mega Raids

Mega Venusaur will appear in Mega Raids throughout the week.

Shadow Raids

Shadow Registeel will be available in five-star Shadow Raids during Delightful Days, with a chance to find a Shiny Shadow Registeel if luck’s on your side. One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be daily, and five-star ones happen weekends.

Eggs-pedition Access Returns

During the Delightful Days season, Trainers can purchase a ticket granting bonuses and Timed Research. Each day, spinning a PokéStop or Gym Photo Disc will give an Incubator, adding some extra hatch power to your routine.

GO Battle League Season 23

Season 23: Delightful Days started on June 3, 2025, resetting ranks but keeping rank-up requirements the same. This week’s cups include Great League, Ultra League, and Master League, with 4× Stardust rewards for wins (not including end-of-set rewards).

Dates Cups
July 15 – July 22 Master League, Sunshine Cup: Great League Edition
July 22 – July 29 Great League, Ultra League, Master League

Season of Delightful Days

This ongoing Season highlights Crowned Zacian and Zamazenta, along with new Pokémon from Galar, Paldea, and Hisui regions. Bonuses include one extra Special Trade per day, increased XP for the first catch, and double duration for Daily Adventure Incense.
