Pokémon GO’s GO Pass for July 2025 begins on Tuesday, July 1 at 10:00 a.m. local time and runs until Tuesday, August 5 at 10:00 a.m. This month’s pass brings some neat rewards, including an encounter with Zapdos featuring a special Delightful Days-themed background, along with XP and Stardust bonuses. The popular Lucky Trinket item also makes a comeback for trainers who purchase the Deluxe version.
If you’re not familiar, trainers earn GO Points by completing pass tasks and can rank up to unlock milestone rewards. Upgrading to the Deluxe GO Pass through the Pokémon GO Web Store grants access to premium items and additional bonuses.
GO Pass: July Details
- Available from Tuesday, July 1, 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 5, 10:00 a.m. local time
- Trainers automatically receive the GO Pass on July 1 at 10:00 a.m. local time
- Collect GO Points and rank up for rewards through August 5
- From August 2 (midnight) to August 3 (11:59 p.m.), there’s no daily limit on GO Points earned

- Encounter with Zapdos sporting a Delightful Days-themed special background, and a chance at a Shiny Zapdos!

GO Pass July 2025 Deluxe
The GO Pass Deluxe is the paid version, available for purchase from the Pokémon GO Web Store. Your Deluxe pass activates as soon as the GO Pass begins, and you’ll be able to claim rewards from both the free and Deluxe versions as you progress.

Lucky Trinket
The Lucky Trinket is a one-time-use item that lets you instantly turn one Great Friend into a Lucky Friend, even if you haven’t reached Best Friend status yet. It expires on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time, regardless of when you claim it.
