Pokemon GO Pass December 2025 includes Palkia encounter and Timed Incubator

Niantic has published details for GO Pass: December 2025, confirming an encounter with Palkia, a return of the Timed Incubator in the GO Pass Deluxe track, plus a stack of XP, Stardust, and other bonuses for trainers. The free GO Pass activates on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time, and players can earn GO Points by completing Pass Tasks to rank up and claim milestone rewards through Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Rewards unlocked from the pass will expire on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Key rewards listed so far include an encounter with Palkia, Stardust, XP, Max Particles, and a variety of typical GO Pass items. For players who want the paid track, GO Pass Deluxe adds extra encounters, premium items such as Super Incubators and Premium Battle Passes, and the Timed Incubator on Rank 20 of GO Pass Deluxe: December. The Timed Incubator returned description notes that it is an unlimited-use incubator that lasts from when it is earned until one week after the current GO Pass ends; the Timed Incubator earned from GO Pass Deluxe: December will expire on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Any Egg still incubating when the Timed Incubator expires will move into a single-use Incubator to finish hatching and then the Timed Incubator will disappear.

There are several bonus windows and milestone details to track: the pass automatically activates for eligible trainers on December 2 at 10:00 a.m., and from Saturday, January 3 at 12:00 a.m. through Sunday, January 4 at 11:59 p.m. local time there will be no daily limit on how many GO Points you can earn. Major milestone highlights include Tier 1 at Rank 25 for the free pass, which unlocks up to 40 gift openings per day, receiving up to 125 gifts per day from spinning PokéStops and Gym Photo Discs, and holding up to 10 additional gifts in the bag. The Deluxe version strengthens Tier 1 to 50 gift openings per day, up to 150 gifts received per day, and holding up to 40 gifts in the item bag.

Further tiers include Rank 50 granting 2x Daily Adventure Incense duration and Rank 75 offering additional rewards for completing in-person raids and Max Battles. Deluxe purchasers also get buy options through the Pokémon GO Web Store, including +10 and +20 rank bundles that come with sets of Ultra Balls, Max Potions, Revives, Premium Battle Passes, and incubators. GO Pass Deluxe purchases made via the Pokémon GO Web Store will activate as soon as the GO Pass begins, and Deluxe progress allows claiming both free and Deluxe rewards as ranks are reached.
