Pokémon GO from Niantic is bringing its City Safari event to Bangkok, Thailand, on September 27 and 28, 2025, delivering ticketed in-person gameplay, timed research, and several citywide bonuses. The two-day event will highlight exclusive spawns, ticket-only rewards, and optional add-ons for Trainers.
Event dates, times, and basic costs are listed in the table below. Tickets cost ฿285 (plus applicable taxes and fees) and are limited in quantity.

Tickets cost ฿285 (plus applicable taxes and fees) and are available through the official ticketing page: Niantic event ticketing. Tickets are non-refundable and sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Ticket-holding Trainers will receive local bonuses and rewards between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. ICT on their ticketed day, usable anywhere in Bangkok. These include increased Shiny encounter rates, extended lure durations, special trade allowances, and souvenir opportunities.
Several specific ticket-holder bonuses are listed here:
- Increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon during ticketed hours
- Lure Modules (excluding Golden Lures) activated during the event will last four hours
- Up to five special trades can be made per day within the event area
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust within the city
- A buddy may find an exclusive Tiny Compass souvenir
Special Pokémon will appear across Bangkok during the event. Mudbray is listed as an exclusive appearance for City Safari 2025 events and may appear in other places at a later date.

The following Pokémon will hatch from 7km Eggs during the event:

A ticket add-on called Egg-enthusiast unlocks a 1/2 Hatch Distance bonus during the event and boosts hatch rewards.
Eevee Explorers Expedition
Event ticket holders can take part in the Eevee Explorers Special Research and Timed Research, which award encounters with an Eevee wearing an explorer hat and several rewards tied to exploration of participating locations.
The explorer-hat Eevee that appears in Special Research can be evolved into any known Eeveelution for 50 candies; some evolutions still require their usual special conditions.

Rewards for the Eevee Explorers research include 25 Eevee Candy, Lures, and encounters with Eevee wearing an explorer hat.
A City Safari Stamp Rally runs during event hours. Trainers can collect up to eight stamps by visiting participating PokéStops, and each collected stamp grants an encounter with an Eevee wearing an explorer hat; the rally can be completed once per day during event hours.
In Person Gameplay, Maps and Location
Six recommended starting areas are listed for the event: Siam Paragon, Benjakitti Forest Park, Santi Chai Prakan Park, Chatuchak Park, Lan Khon Mueang, and Hua Lamphong. Official routes will be available in some areas to guide exploration.
Pikachu Visors and Sticker Pack
Pikachu sun visors and a limited sticker pack will be available at the Siam Discovery Plaza area while supplies last, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pokémon MEGA Festival 2025

Gameplay Ticket add-ons
Several optional add-ons offer bonuses, including up to 12 free Raid Passes per day, 1/2 Hatch Distance with doubled hatch rewards, and an extra day add-on that repeats citywide bonuses for an additional fee.
