PlayStation Plus Unveils July’s Free Games Lineup Including Diablo IV and More

PlayStation Plus is marking its 15th Anniversary on June 29, 2010, and just before that milestone, they revealed the free games available for July. This matters because it lets subscribers know what fresh titles they can grab without extra cost, and honestly, the lineup looks pretty sweet this month.

PlayStation Plus offers free games in phases depending on the subscription tier. Essential members get their batch at the start of the month, while Extra and Premium/Deluxe tiers receive theirs mid-month. For July 2025, the Essential pack is available from July 1 through August 4.

Free PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for July

Diablo IV

Kicking off the month is Diablo IV for PS5 and PS4. This hack-and-slash action RPG from Blizzard Entertainment throws you into a world full of relentless enemies, a crazy variety of skills to master, brutal dungeons, and legendary loot waiting to be snagged. You can play solo or team up with a friend locally, or with up to four players online. Honestly, it’s the kind of game that can suck you in for hours. I mean, who doesn’t love hunting for epic gear and slashing through hordes?

The King of Fighters XV

Next up is The King of Fighters XV for PS5 and PS4. This 2D fighting game continues the legacy from its 1994 debut, featuring classic 3-on-3 team battles and an impressive roster of 39 fighters, mixing old favorites with new challengers. The game also sports a revamped combat system plus rollback netcode to help keep online matches smooth and lag-free. If you’re into fighting games, this one’s a solid pick. Ever tried pulling off a perfect combo online? It’s so satisfying!

Jusant

Last but not least, Jusant is available exclusively for PS5. It’s an action-puzzle climbing game where you journey up a towering structure, choosing your path while uncovering secrets of a lost civilization. You’ll juggle stamina and resources while mastering different climbing tools. The vibe is kinda meditative, perfect if you want something chill but with a bit of challenge. I’m curious—how far can you climb before you run out of steam?
