PlayStation DualSense Controllers Will Soon Connect to Multiple Devices Simultaneously

Sony plans an update letting DualSense connect to several devices without constant re-pairing.

Sony is rolling out an update later this year that lets the DualSense controller connect to multiple devices at the same time. This means you might finally be able to switch between your PlayStation 5 and PC without the annoying hassle of re-pairing your controller every time. Pretty neat, right?

Announced on social media, Sony teased this feature with just a small hint: “Want to pair your DualSense controller to multiple devices at once? An update planned for later this year enhances pairing functionality.” It’s kinda interesting but also leaves us wondering how many devices you’ll be able to connect simultaneously and what the exact process will look like.

Imagine not having to unplug your controller from your PS5 just to jump into a PC game, or maybe even switching between two PS5s without fuss. That could make gaming sessions smoother and save some precious time. But, of course, the devil’s in the details, and Sony hasn’t shared those yet.
