Sony has decided to postpone the PS5 reveal event, which was scheduled for June 4. The last piece of discovery made by Sony was in the pre-event teaser – the black version of the DualSense Controler. According to Sony, the reveal event is postponed indefinitely, and for unknown reasons.
So far, this is what we know according to Sony:
While we understand gamers worldwide are excited to see PS5 games, we do not feel that right now is a time for celebration and for now, we want to stand back and allow more important voices to be heard.
This statement arrived on PlayStation’s official Twitter profile, which can be found below.

Understandably, there have been a lot of improper events worldwide, among which the Covid-19 may be taken into perspective. This delay has an indefinite course and could be a reflection of the recent developments in the US. That makes the organization which protests align the #TheBlackLivesMatter hashtag, which is undoubtedly among the main reasons for this delay
The Last Of Us Part 2’s developer, Naughty Dog, also boarded on the ship, expressing their solidarity regarding the recent events.
