The Battlefield 6 campaign has players spotting scenes shown in trailers and early footage that don’t appear in the final game, prompting claims parts of the single-player were cut. DICE’s shooter brought back a campaign after Battlefield 2042 skipped it, but that return only lasts about five hours for many players. On Reddit, user Mikalton lined up shots from trailers that never show up in-game, including a moment where a tattooed man slams a table. Those cuts, if deliberate, would explain some of the campaign’s odd pacing and gaps.
What happened to all this? It's not in the campaign.

The campaign clocks in at roughly five hours, and many reviews have already called out weaknesses in story and structure. Players point to a mission set in Egypt that feels disconnected from the rest, and a timeline that can come across as out of order. For now, these are fan theories and observations rather than official word. Players are waiting to see if DICE will explain the missing shots or detail what changed during development.
