Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is the expansion for the vast popular MMO. Today, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis has become available on multiple platforms, with accessibility to a separate progression with any character of player’s possession, despite their time of creation in the first or second game. New Genesis is also considered for a graphical overhaul and additional content.
This is also considered for a massive update and a separate “shared universe,” available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.
Phantasy Star Online 2 was first released in Japan in 2012, for later to come available to the West. The west release was crowned with both PC and Xbox One versions of the game in 2020, but it had downs due to the lack of an exciting and lavish environment. Hence, its oldness couldn’t bear any longer but make the developers focus on a new version of the game, New Genesis.
All of the platforms contain both versions of the game, and players should be able to switch between them. The size of both versions combined is around 80GB.
