Even though Paradox’s rebooted RPG Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was scheduled for 2020, now is being delayed to 2021. It seems that the game needs more work, and the developer has decided to postpone the title for the best possible outcome. Within a tweet, it was announced that the rebooted RPG needs more polishing to ensure the best player experience.

The developer’s main focus was to deliver the best game possible and immerse players into what’s supposed to be a continuation of the original Bloodlines game. Therefore, this was most likely inevitable for Paradox, which aside from the disappointment, it was a right call to delay the release of the game.
We understand that this will be a disappointment to many of you, but we also appreciate how our ambition is echoed through many parts of the community. We hope you understand that, while difficult, this is the right call.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was first revealed at GDC 2019, and has caught up player’s attention very fast. Sadly, it had to be delayed for a later period. The game should arrive both on PC and next-gen consoles.
