The second anniversary celebration is not yet over. It may be a bit late for this new promotion, but Blizzard is beginning an original charge of Double XP Weekend. The double XP weekend will be available on all platforms, PS4, Xbox One and PC, and starts on June 8 at 11 AM PDT in all regions.
Blizzard has clearly stated that the bonus XP applies to all sources of in-game XP such as follows:
- Time Spent in a Match
- Completing a Match
- Completing consecutive matches
- Winning a match
- Backfilling a match in progress
- Earning medals
The bonus will stack multiplicatively, and also apply to existing group and IGR bonuses. Well, the IGR bonuses are not essential for everyone since they only implement under various circumstances. Despite all the bonus applies, one shall remain intact, and that is the First Win of the Day bonus which is going to stay at 1500 XP.
The time to grind has finally come so if you’re newer to Overwatch this may be your only way to gather the needed XP.
