Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is on its way, as SNK Corporation has just announced an open beta test from February 20 to 24. Can you believe we’re getting a chance to step back into this series? It’s time to get hyped!
You can play eight characters across three online modes.
The open beta will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and PC through Steam. There is no need for a PlayStation Plus or Game Pass Core subscription, just hop in and start fighting!
From February 20, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET through February 24, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. PT / February 25 at 2:59 a.m. ET, players can choose from eight characters and battle it out with friends in three online modes: Ranked Match, Casual Match, or Room Match. Want to practice? There’s also an offline Training mode to sharpen your skills!
The game introduces a stunning comic-inspired art style that will delight fans while incorporating thrilling matches powered by the REV System. Honestly, I can’t wait to see how these dynamic battles unfold! This is our first chance to experience the modernized gameplay of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
This franchise has been around since its debut in 1991, igniting the fighting game boom of the ’90s. The last installment was back in ’99 with Garou: Mark of the Wolves. Now we’re seeing fan favorites alongside new characters returning, and I’m all about it! It feels like we’re getting an upgraded classic.
