NVIDIA Reveals Pricing for RTX 50 Series GPUs

NVIDIA announces the pricing and availability of its new RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070 GPUs.

Alright folks, buckle up because NVIDIA just dropped some serious news at CES 2025! The gaming world has been waiting for the new RTX 50 series graphics cards, and now we have the juicy details on pricing and availability. Grab your wallets because things are about to get real!

The crown jewel of this lineup is the NVIDIA RTX 5090, which comes with a hefty price tag of $1999. That’s right, if you want top-of-the-line performance, it’s gonna cost ya. But wait, there’s more! The RTX 5080 will set you back $999, while the mid-tier RTX 5070Ti and entry-level RTX 5070 come in at $749 and $549, respectively. Not exactly pocket change, but for those craving cutting-edge tech, it might be worth it.

Here’s where it gets exciting: NVIDIA claims that the RTX 5070 is as powerful as the current kingpin, the RTX 4090. Color me intrigued! It’ll be exciting to see if this budget-friendly option can hold its own against its big brother.

The talk around availability suggests we could start seeing these bad boys hit shelves as soon as this month. While NVIDIA hasn’t spilled specific release dates yet, rumor is that January 21st could be our lucky day for the RTX 5080 launch.

If you’re wondering how these cards perform in real-world scenarios (and let’s face it, we all are), NVIDIA teased an early benchmark graph showing off some impressive Path Tracing capabilities. Word on the street is that the RTX 5080 may deliver double the performance of the RTX 4090 when it comes to ray tracing tasks! Now, that’s something worth getting excited over!

This announcement trumps AMD’s recent GPU reveal; after all, NVIDIA laid out prices immediately and put DLSS 4 into motion during their presentation! More details are sure to follow once they send out press releases after today’s keynote; I’ll keep my eyes peeled for updates.

This year looks like it will be packed with intense gaming experiences thanks to these new releases. Whether you’re looking to upgrade or simply keeping track of what’s happening in tech-land, there’s plenty to look forward to.
