NVIDIA has released the GeForce Hotfix 576.66 driver, which aims to resolve some specific issues in recent triple-A games and graphics glitches affecting RTX 50-series GPUs. This update might be worth checking out if you play titles like Dune: Awakening or F1 25.
The hotfix addresses crashes reported in Dune: Awakening and EA Sports FC 25. It also stops shadow flickering in Dragon’s Dogma 2 when using RTX 50-series cards. Another fix prevents brief red or green flashes during video playback in web browsers, again on RTX 50-series GPUs. It also addresses crashes in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. These corrections should smooth out gameplay and video viewing for affected users.
This hotfix is built on top of the previous Game Ready Driver 576.52, including all its prior improvements and tweaks. If you haven’t updated to 576.52 yet, you can install this hotfix directly without missing anything. However, if you don’t play the games mentioned or haven’t noticed issues, there’s no urgent need to update. Sometimes it’s best to leave things be if everything works fine.
