NVIDIA GeForce 581.15 WHQL Brings DLSS 4 Support and a Few Fixes

Driver adds day-1 DLSS 4 support for new games and fixes several PC issues.

NVIDIA has released a new driver that adds day-1 support for upcoming titles and expands DLSS 4 support. The NVIDIA GeForce 581.15 WHQL driver includes support for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giant and a DLSS 4 patch for Wuthering Waves, plus some fixes.

According to the release notes, this update adds day-1 optimizations for the listed titles and enables DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Gen for both games. If you want the best possible frame rates and image quality for those releases, this driver is the logical choice for PC updates.

The release also addresses a crash that could occur in Marvel’s Avengers – The Definitive Edition on startup, and it fixes a random flicker that some monitors showed when hot-plugged over HDMI. There’s no mention of a fix for visual artifacts in Mafia: The Old Country, so players who rely on the older workaround may want to keep the 580.88 driver for now.

You can grab the driver from NVIDIA’s driver download page if you want to install it today.

NVIDIA GeForce 581.15 WHQL Driver Release Notes

Game Ready for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants

This new Game Ready Driver provides the best gaming experience for the latest new games supporting DLSS 4 technology including Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giant and Wuthering Waves.

Fixed Gaming Bugs

  • Marvel’s Avengers – The Definitive Edition: Game crashes to desktop on startup [5350712]

Fixed General Bugs

  • Certain monitors may display a random flicker when hot plugged over HDMI [5280259]

If you rely on specific older drivers for stability with certain games, weigh the fixes here against any previous workarounds you depend on. This update looks most relevant for players who want DLSS 4 benefits on launch.
