A new GPU driver has been released by Nvidia. This new Game Ready GPU driver is titled 516.40, and it focuses on delivering optimized performance in Fall Guys: Free For All, which will release on June 21st. The update also prepares the strings for the release of ray tracing updates for Jurassic World Evolution 2, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 7.
As announced by Nvidia, this update is fully available and represents a recommended build for both Windows 10 and Windows 11. Furthermore, this update brings optimizations and enhancements for the latest title updates. Open Issues in Version 516.40 WHQL
As with every released driver, version 516.40 WHQL of the Release 515 driver has open issues and enhancement requests associated with it. This section includes lists of issues that are either not fixed or not implemented in this version. Some problems listed may not have been thoroughly investigated and, in fact, may not be NVIDIA issues. Others may have workaround solutions.
