Nvidia 430.39 offers optimal gaming experience for MK11, Anthem and Strange Brigade

Nvidia has released a new driver that enhances their GPUs. The driver 430.39 is scheduled to enhance the gameplay experience for MK11, Anthem and Strange Brigade, thanks to the optimal gaming experience released for them. Anthem was previously available, however, kept on receiving changes.

This release is also scheduled to fix a couple of issues found in the previous version, such as desktop flickers on multi-display PCs. I personally had encountered this issue a couple of times and thankfully now it’s gone! Furthermore, it has support for new GTX 1650 and the new 16 series laptops.

Game Ready – Provides the optimal gaming experience for Mortal Kombat XI, Anthem, and Strange Brigade.

Gaming Technology –

  • Includes support for GeForce GTX 1650 desktop, and GeForce GTX 1660 Ti and GTX 1650 notebook GPUs.

  • Adds support for seven new G-SYNC compatible monitors

  • Adds support for Windows 10 May 2019 Update (including Variable Rate Shading).

Discontinued Support

  • 3D Vision

    • Beginning with Release 430, the NVIDIA driver no longer supports the following 3D Vision technologies and features:

      • NVIDIA 3D Stereoscopic Driver, including the 3D Vision driver and USB (emitter) driver

      • NVAPI-based stereo APIs for Direct3D applications.

  • NVIDIA Kepler GPUs for Notebooks

    • Beginning with Release 430, the NVIDIA driver no longer supports NVIDIA GPUs for notebooks based on the Kepler architecture.

Driver Fixes (For full list of fixes please check out release notes)

  • [madVR][HDR]: MadVR is not rendering videos in HDR mode using MPC player. [200505657]

  • [Surround][G-SYNC][Pascal GPU]: G-SYNC does not engage when using Surround resolution. [200505986]

  • Random desktop flicker occurs on some multi-display PCs [2453059]

  • Memory leaks occur when launching games. [2551904]

Important Open Issues (For full list of open issues please check out release notes)

  • [NVIDIA Control Panel]: When the 3D Settings page->Vertical Sync setting is set to Adaptive Sync (half refresh rate), V-Sync works only at the native refresh rate after rebooting the system. [2543187]
