Nintendo Direct Will Have 40 Minutes of Game Showcase at This Year’s E3

Nintendo has announced that a brand new E3 Direct Showcase is on the rise. The event will focus exclusively on Nintendo Switch software coming in 2021, and will be followed with gameplay content of 3 hours in #NintendoTreehouseLive.

However, the exciting part is that there have been rumors whirling about a potential new Switch Pro console. If they turn out to be true, then Nintendo might reveal entertainment software connected to the new console.

The time and date for the 40 min Direct presentation was posted in a tweet earlier. The event starts at the following time:

  • Tuesday, June 15, at 12 PM ET.

The official announcement of the event can be found below:

🗓 Nintendo at #E32021: 6/15, 9am PT!

Tune in for a #NintendoDirect with roughly 40 minutes of info focused exclusively on #NintendoSwitch software, mostly releasing in 2021, followed by around 3 hours of gameplay in #NintendoTreehouseLive | E3 2021.

If you ask for my personal opinion, I believe that Nintendo Switch is performing really well with the sales. It’s going out of storefronts like butter, and that’s a sign that Nintendo doesn’t necessarily need a new console. Unless the company wants to innovate in multiple categories, then we guess a new console might be the only way out to accompany a more demanding entertainment software.
