Nintendo has confirmed a delay for the public sale of Alarmo in Europe. Initially released as an exclusive for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers in October 2024, the interactive sound clock was expected to be available for all by mid-January 2025.
The company has now announced that this timeline has shifted. Alarmo will remain a timed exclusive for Nintendo Switch Online members until early March. Following this period, it will be sold on the My Nintendo Store in the UK and Ireland, along with select retailers across certain European countries.

A similar situation occurred in Japan last month when a lottery system was introduced at official stores due to inventory shortages. Plans to make Alarmo widely available were also postponed there. Nintendo of America has not yet reported any delays regarding Alarmo sales, indicating that currently, only Japan and Europe are affected by these changes.
The retail price of Alarmo is $99.99 in the US and Canada and £89.99 in the UK. This device offers features like playing sounds inspired by various Nintendo games to wake users up while reacting to body movements with additional game sounds. Users can snooze alarms through gestures or stop them simply by getting out of bed or pressing a button if preferred. The clock also tracks movement during sleep.
An update released in December added themes from Mario Kart 7 Deluxe to Alarmo’s existing selection, including themes from titles like Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and others at launch.
