Nexon told investors that Arc Raiders has sold more than 14 million copies since its October 30, 2025 launch and reached a peak concurrent player count approaching one million across all platforms. The publisher said the game sustained roughly six million weekly active users to date and recorded a January peak of about 960,000 concurrent users. “Since its October 30 launch, the game sustained top-ranking spots on Steam’s Top Sellers list as well as PlayStation and Xbox,” Nexon added.
Arc Raiders is a third-person extraction shooter developed by Stockholm-based Embark Studios, a team that includes former Battlefield developers and former DICE CEO Patrick Söderlund. Nexon described the title as outperforming its expectations on multiple metrics and pointed to strong retention since launch. The company framed those figures as notable given how difficult new live service launches have been for many publishers this year.
The broader market strain on new live services was underscored by recent layoffs at another launch, with that game’s developer saying, “We’re proud of the team, talent, and the product we’ve created together.” Earlier in January Embark confirmed that Arc Raiders had reached 12 million sales and awarded a free golden hammer to players who logged in before January 13, 2026, as a milestone gift, and more on that milestone can be found in a previous report.
