A fresh trailer for the upcoming video game Persona 3 Reload is now online and centers on the main character, Makoto Yuki. The video shows his leadership skills and ability to motivate his teammates. It also provides a glimpse into various in-game activities, such as fighting and part-time jobs. Not to be overlooked, the trailer also features an incredible new rendition of the song “Burn My Dread.”
In Persona 3 Reload, Makoto Yuki is a transfer student who finds himself at Gekkoukan High School. Voiced by Aleks Le in English and Akira Ishida in Japanese, Makoto soon discovers the existence of the Dark Hour, a mysterious period when Shadows come to life and attack. However, he manages to fend off these Shadows by awakening his Persona.
After his initial encounters with Shadows and awakening his Persona, Makoto becomes part of a group known as the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, or SEES for short. This team is dedicated to fighting Shadows and investigating the enigmatic area called Tartarus.
The game is set to launch on February 2, 2024, and will be available on multiple platforms: Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. While the game will not include “The Answer” from Persona 3 FES or Kotone Shiomi from Persona 3 Portable, it will incorporate specific story elements from the former version. The game also promises to make it easier for players to max out their Social Links, which are relationships you can build with other characters in the game.
