I just caught wind of this juicy tidbit about the upcoming Pokémon Presents 2025, and honestly, the runtime doubling caught me off guard! Last year’s brief show barely scratched the surface, so a 24-minute event sounds like it could finally bring some meaty reveals. I remember when those quick announcements left me wanting more. This might fix that.
A trusted leaker, known as CentroLeaks, shared on X that this year’s Pokémon Presents will run for approximately 24 minutes. To put that in perspective, the 2024 event lasted just 12 minutes and 47 seconds, so this nearly doubles the length. You can bet that many more announcements will follow, although we don’t know exactly what they will be yet.

The event is scheduled for July 22 at 6:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. BST on YouTube. If you’re like me and love these showcases, this longer runtime might finally give us a real glimpse into the future of the franchise.
CentroLeaks also chimed in on the much-asked-about Black and White remake rumors. Apparently, those won’t be popping up until 2028. Their reasoning? 2025 is reserved for Pokémon Legends: ZA, 2026 will focus on the Gen 10 main game, 2027 will bring Gen 10 DLC, and then finally, 2028 will be the year for the Black and White remakes.
It’s a fairly clear roadmap, but it means fans hoping for remakes this year will have to be patient. Still, with a longer event, there might be plenty of other surprises to keep us hooked.
