Battlestate Games has surprised us with yet another of what’s supposed to be a pre-wipe event in Escape From Tarkov so people get in the groove before the new beginning lands. In this event, it’s all about the sneaky, bush-wookie Cultists.
This event increases their spawn rate to around 100% during nighttime on almost all maps, even in Factory. long as you queue during that period. Night raids in Tarkov can be painful without the mandatory gear, such as night vision or thermals. So make sure you bring those and get the antidote injection to counter their poison in case you get stabbed by a Cultist. They are like ninjas, I know.
The Cultists are one of the scariest factions operating in the Norvinsk region. Their footsteps are entirely silent. Should you dare search for them, make sure you scan your surroundings thoroughly. They can be tucked behind the weirdest obstacle, hug a tree, or become a bush.
This event also brings a new quest to the game, which asks you to kill 30 cultists. However its rewards are somewhat not even worth mentioning, except the Grenade Launcher, yeah?
