In a recent announcement, Developer Visual Concepts and publisher 2K have raised the curtain on their latest installment in the hugely popular NBA 2K franchise, NBA 2K24. Slated for a global launch on September 8, the game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The major highlight of NBA 2K24 is its cross-platform multiplayer capability, which allows players on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S to compete. However, the PC version is missing from the crossplay arena, with the developers focusing more on the current-gen consoles.
Kobe Bryant Returns to the Court in NBA 2K24
Honoring one of the most iconic basketball legends, the late Kobe Bryant, NBA 2K24 will feature him as the cover athlete. Bryant’s illustrious career was decorated with impressive accolades, including 18 All-Star selections, 5 NBA Championships, and two Finals MVP awards. The Kobe Bryant and Black Mamba Edition will bear his image on the cover. There’s also a special WNBA Edition, exclusive to the US and Canada, featuring Sabrina Ionescu as its cover star.
NBA 2K24 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam for PC.
