NetherRealm has finally released the long-awaited Mortal Kombat 11 Update 1.25. This new update adds content from the Ultimate Edition, giving players new stages, new cosmetics, but most importantly, new Kombatants from the Kombat Pack 2 DLC. The Kombat Pack 2 DLC, along with the Ultimate Edition has finally been released.

The Kombat Pack 2 is the newest MK11 DLC, adding three new playable characters to the game: John Rambo, Mileena, and Rain. Mileena was one of the fan favorites for this pack, after the disappointment of not making it to the final cut, but Rain takes the cake here. The last time we saw Rain in a Mortal Kombat game was for Mortal Kombat 9, which made him one of the most wanted characters when MKX was still hot.

The Ultimate Edition for Mortal Kombat 11 includes the base game, the Kombat Pack 2, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath expansion, and the Kombat Pack 1. With MK11 releasing for next-gen, PS4, and Xbox One users are allowed a free upgrade to their respective next-gen consoles. Mortal Kombat Ultimate Edition is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.

The next-gen editions come with their enhancements, giving players 4K dynamic resolution, enhanced visuals, significantly improved loading times, cross-platform and cross-gen compatibility.
