Square Enix has planned an event for February 6th to share more details about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which will be available on February 29th only for PS5. After today’s State of Play, this one will focus solely on this particular game.
In FF7 Rebirth, players follow the journey of characters Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret, and Red XIII as they leave Midgar to chase after Sephiroth. The game will take them to well-known places like Junoon and new areas like Crow’s Nest, as they will meet and join forces with other characters such as Cait Sith and Yuffie.
Cid and Vincent Valentine won’t be playable characters, and the game will introduce new mini-games like Queen’s Blood and piano playing, and players can also enjoy Chocobo Racing and many side activities. The game is quite long, offering around 100 hours of content, with the main story taking about 40 hours to finish.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be released on February 29th and is made exclusively for the PS5.
