So, there’s some juicy news floating around about Fortnite. A well-known insider spills the tea that we might see more collabs with DC Comics, especially since Multiversus has thrown in the towel. Can you believe it?
This insider, ShiinaBR, who’s pretty much a legend when it comes to Fortnite leaks and rumors, hinted at Warner Bros.’s new strategy. Apparently, they’ve done a complete 180 now that Multiversus is down for the count. Shiina mentioned that while Multiversus was active, DC kinda hit pause on teaming up with other games. But with the game shutting down, they’re eager to jump back into partnerships—and guess who’s first on the list? Yup, our beloved Fortnite!
I heard about Multiversus shutting down before yesterday’s rumors surfaced, I was told the game indeed caused the halt of DC collabs.
Now, Warner Bros.' new tactic is to double down on collabs with other games again, including Fortnite.
In any case, a bad day for the devs 😕 https://t.co/Oh9HLbajFc

Do you know how Fortnite has rolled out some epic skins over time? We’ve seen characters like The Joker, Superman, and Wonder Woman. But honestly, DC has lagged behind a bit compared to Marvel’s constant updates with new skins every movie release. It would be fantastic if Epic Games decided to go all out and throw us a season themed entirely around the DC universe, especially with all those changes happening in James Gunn’s DCEU!
Multiversus officially announced its shutdown last week, wrapping things up after its fifth season. If you’re still hoping for one last round of online play, mark May 30 on your calendar, that’s when it all goes offline. After that date, you’ll only have local gameplay mode left. Think solo AI battles or gathering friends for some couch co-op fun.
