After the reveal, players won’t have to wait long to get their hands on the game. A multiplayer beta for Modern Warfare 3 is set for this weekend. PlayStation players will get the first shot at it, from October 6 to October 10. A second beta weekend will open up for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC gamers from October 12 to October 16.
The CODNext event on October 5 will cover more than just the multiplayer aspect. It’s expected to offer details on the campaign mode, zombies, and Warzone. Each of these game modes is being handled by different studios: Sledgehammer Games for the Multiplayer and Campaign, Treyarch Games for Zombies, and Raven Studios for Warzone.
