Midnight Season 1’s Mythic+ Start Is Shockingly Easy with Level 10 Runs Succeed 85% of the Time
Raider.IO's first-24-hour snapshot shows total runs up 30.8% and a level-10 success rate of 85.43%, with Windrunner Spire topping the list at 96.26%.

Raider.IO’s early-season snapshot from the first 24 hours of Midnight Season 1 shows Mythic+ activity far outpacing the start of the previous expansion. Total completed runs climbed by +30.8%, active characters were up +4%, and the overall success rate improved by +7.4 percentage points compared with the last expansion’s comparable window.
Level 10 is suddenly trivial
Most striking was how many keys players pushed early. About 23.7% of all runs were at key level 10 or higher within that first day, compared with just 11.3% during the same window in the last expansion. The success rate for all level 10 runs sat at 85.4%, versus 61.5% for level 10 in the earlier snapshot. That jump means groups were finishing timed +10s and even multiple timed +15s far earlier than usual.
Dungeon-by-dungeon: a surprising spread
At the top of the list, Windrunner Spire posted a 96.2% in-time rate. Close behind were Seat of the Triumvirate at 95.6% and Magisters’ Terrace at 95.4%. Older returnees also performed well: Pit of Saron reached 93.7%, Skyreach hit 93.4%, and Nexus-Point Xenas came in around 93.0%. Maisara Caverns trailed those at 91.4%.
Not every dungeon seems super easy. Algeth’ar Academy recorded the lowest in-time rate at 85.52%. Early heat maps point to big pulls on the platform fights, risky approaches toward the second boss, and heavy trash pulls before Vexamus and the final encounter as the main causes of wipes.
How the key curve looked
The typical progression this week started with most groups taking a +2, moving into a +5, then +8, and then pushing +10. Success rates stayed above 98% for the first five key levels. The Fortified affix at level 7 reduced the in-time ratio by about 5.5 percentage points, while the usual difficulty spike from level 9 to 10 cost roughly 4.6 percentage points.
What this means for players
With such high early success rates, players who already know the dungeon roster have a clear opportunity to claim Keystone Master progress and bank several +10s in their vaults this week. The data snapshot was taken before the Asian-region reset, so totals should shift once those servers are included. If Asian activity returns to its long-term global share near 45%, the week could surpass 4 million completed runs.
Expect Algeth’ar Academy to receive tuning attention or for groups to change pull patterns to avoid the worst trash clusters.
