The latest update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has arrived, bringing a host of fixes and improvements that players will appreciate. Nixxes has rolled out Title Update 8 for the PC version, which aims to improve gameplay experience and address several performance issues.
This new patch explicitly targets areas with trees, offering improved performance. One significant highlight is the resolution of flickering character hair when using Ray Reconstruction, allowing players to comfortably enable NVIDIA’s RR technology without visual distractions.
The update also includes several visual enhancements, such as fixing the pixelated transition between wet and dry sections of Spider-Man’s suit. AMD users will be pleased to know that a bug causing rainbow pixelated artifacts with Ray Tracing has also been resolved.
This patch also focuses on stability. It fixes a crash that some players encountered while exiting during vehicle chases. Mouse responsiveness after canceling character change prompts was also improved—both welcome changes for better usability.
If you’ve taken a break from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, it’s great to see ongoing support from Nixxes since the PC version launched in January 2025. While my previous analysis noted some rushed aspects at launch, it seems many initial problems have been resolved through these updates.
The Steam client will automatically download this update upon your next launch. Below, you can find the complete changelog for Title Update 8:
