Eidos Montreal’s action-adventure title Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy reached a new milestone. The developer is happy to announce that the action-adventure title Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy crossed 8 million players, players more than one year after its release for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PC!
This could very well mean that a sequel is coming, but however will have to endure Disney’s approval. In the Embracer Group’s Q2 2022/23 Interim Report, Crystal Dynamics/Eidos Montreal’s CEO, Phil Rogers, said that the development team is enthusiastic and happy about this achievement.
He potentiated the “great engagement from players with this title entering into Game Pass and PlayStation Plus quite recently.” He further continued, “I’ve actually just landed back from a few days in Montreal. There’s great pride in the team about the game they’ve made, and there’s also great excitement now about how we drive it commercially within our own business unit.”
