During the latest War Table stream, it was announced that Crystal Dynamics’ Marvel’s Avengers would release on March 18th for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. As with any other game, it will receive visual and performance enhancements suited for the new-gen consoles.
Marvel’s Avengers will get an improved frame rate, along with resolution enhancements. The game will run at 4K for PS5 and Xbox Series X, while the Xbox Series S version will only run at 1440p. Cross-gen play will also be supported, allowing PS4 and PS5 players to play together, while Xbox One users can matchmake with Xbox Series X/S ones.
Developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix, Marvel’s Avengers has had a tough release. Marvel fans hyped up the game, especially, only for it to not even come close to their expectations. We’re hoping that these new-gen editions will make our experience better and fix some of the game’s silly underwhelming bugs.
