Hey Marvel Rivals fans! Looks like the next big update is creeping up fast, and thanks to an accidental Twitch leak, we’ve got a sneak peek at what Season 3 has in store. Even though NetEase hasn’t said a word yet, the info spilling out gives us a pretty solid idea of the new heroes, events, and some tremendous Twitch rewards coming our way soon.
Season 3 Kicks Off in July With Jean Grey and Blade
Season 2 added Emma Frost and Ultron, which was already a treat, but Season 3 is about to shake things up with two heroes datamined months ago: Jean Grey and Blade. Twitch’s recent blog post, oops, accidentally listed Season 3 details early, revealed the season’s title as The Abyss Awakens and a start date targeted for July 11.
What caught my eye was the Twitch drop description calling out Blade and Phoenix (Jean Grey’s alter ego), promising “new team-ups, great Venomized costumes, and sizzling summer events.” Sounds like a hot summer for Marvel Rivals players! The timing makes sense since the current Battle Pass is set to wrap up around then.
Twitch Drops and Rewards From July to August
If you’re into snagging exclusive cosmetics, Twitch drops will be available from July 11 to August 8. Here’s what’s on the list:

Blade and Jean Grey are expected to be Duelists, focusing on damage. The leaker X0X also mentioned Blade will have Team-Ups with Cloak & Dagger, which sounds like a fun combo for matches. Can you imagine the synergy possibilities? Yikes, this might significantly disrupt the meta!
