Bungie will run a final public playtest for Marathon called the Server Slam Test. The test begins at 10:00 AM Pacific Time on February 26 and then rolls out to other regions at scheduled local times. Players on Pacific Time get first access, while regions in Australia and New Zealand receive access the following calendar day.

Including its opening day, the Server Slam Test runs for four days. The playtest ends on March 2 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. Players are encouraged to use the window to test gameplay, report bugs, and log time with Marathon before launch. Players on Pacific Time will see servers go live first. Regions that list February 27 as the start date will get access in the early hours of that local day, meaning some players will join in the middle of the night or at dawn.
