Major Discounts on PS5 and Xbox Series X Sweep Across Europe

Shoppers in Europe are in for a treat as significant price cuts on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X have been reported. This is particularly interesting for gamers looking to grab the latest consoles without stretching their wallets too thin.

A Dutch retailer, Cool Blue, has caught the attention of bargain hunters with an offer that’s hard to overlook. They’re accepting pre-orders for an Xbox Series X bundle with the latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for just €489. This is a pretty good deal considering the usual price tag of €608.99. It was a Twitter user, MauroNL (via VGC), who first noticed this deal and shared it online, catching the eyes of many eager customers.

Not to be outdone, Amazon Germany has also listed a PlayStation 5 bundle. This package includes the original version of the console with ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’ and is up for grabs at €499.99. Although it’s also mentioned on Amazon UK, it’s not yet open for orders, which has left some UK gamers waiting for their chance.

For those curious about these bundles, the Xbox Series X deal on Cool Blue isn’t an official package with special packaging. It appears more like an intelligent pairing of the standard console with the game. Meanwhile, the PlayStation bundle seems like a special offer directly involving the launch edition of the console.

The timing is interesting, as both offers are set to drop on November 10. With Black Friday around the corner, it raises the question: is this a sneak peek into upcoming official sales, or just a move by these individual retailers? At this point, it’s still a mystery as neither Microsoft nor Sony has stepped up to confirm these discounts.
