Fortnite’s Galactic Battle season keeps expanding its Star Wars universe with the arrival of two iconic characters: Mace Windu and Darth Maul. This update, dropping on May 8, brings fresh Force abilities, new skins, and more reasons to jump back into the island’s galactic chaos.

Chapter 6 Season 3 kicked off last week, but the real fun is beginning. Epic Games plans to roll out weekly content updates throughout the season, culminating in a showdown to destroy the Death Star on June 7. Until then, players can expect a steady stream of characters, quests, and gear inspired by the Star Wars saga.

The highlight of this update is Mace Windu’s debut in Fortnite. Players who find his hologram scattered across the island will learn the Force Pull ability and receive his signature purple Lightsaber. The Mace Windu skin will also be available in the Item Shop, allowing fans to wield his power firsthand.

For those drawn to the dark side, Darth Maul returns with the Force Push ability to demolish enemy buildings. While Maul’s skin isn’t new—first released in May 2023—it’s expected to reappear in the Item Shop for those who missed it the first time.

Later this week, new story quests will arrive alongside the usual Friday quests, offering more XP to climb the Battle Pass ranks. Remember, this season is shorter than normal, so there’s less time to grab all the rewards.

Looking ahead, future updates will introduce Luke Skywalker and unlock the General Grievous skin for Battle Pass owners, adding even more Star Wars flair to the Fortnite experience.
