Shangra is a lonely, beautiful, yet very mysterious island in Lost Ark. It appears at a timer at three different spots in the open seas, and it is one of the most mysterious islands, aside from the Azure Wind Island. A reason why there’s a connection between these two. Well, one of the secretive quests on Shangra is Wings to Wake Up The Dragon Stone: Hydra Lair. The quest asks you to find a secret entrance, which we’re about to reveal now.

Relation to Azure Wind Island: One of the hidden quests on the Azure Wind Island is connected with Shangra, and it requires you to get the Song of Spring (obtained from a quest in Shangra) to complete the final task on Azure. After completing that task, you will be taken back to Shangra and get an opportunity to earn additional T2 honing resources.
Shangra Spawn Locations
First and foremost, make sure you don’t miss Shangra, which spawns at a specific time throughout the day (check your in-game calendar). It can spawn at three places, and each time is different. We have highlighted all three spots in the picture below. Ten minutes before the event, you can either ask in Area Chat about the spawn location or if you’re playing in the early mornings, you would have to visit them and find the one with a whirlpool – an indicator that Shangra will spawn there.
Wings to Wake Up The Dragon Stone: Hydra Lair Quest Location
The secret entrance to the Dragon Remains, or the Hydra Lair is located on the northeast side of the island. You can take a look at its location in the image below. We have also included a video for a better overview.

After you get there, you would need to:
- Investigate the remains
- Play Song of Spring in front of the bones
- Soothe the Lesser Dragon
