I would guess you’re on a rampage of running Islands trying to get your resources ready for some T3 content in Lost Ark. Some of the quests within those islands can be pretty aggravating, despite the tons of guides out there. One of them is the quest named The Soul Left in X-301, which asks you to find three items by defeating some enemies at Facility-301. One of those items is quite hard to drop due to the low respawn timer, and on top of that, it’s not guaranteed. That item is Lost Ark Secret Base Guard’s Eye Sensor.
The Soul Left in X-301 Quest Guide
The quest description is as follows: Favreau’s second record mentioned another soul collected at x-301. I should head over there.
- Defeat the nearby mechanic monsters to collect parts for B-0031.
- Steel Diver’s Arm Circuitry

- Secret Base Guard’s Eye Sensor
Once you go to Facility-301, everything is pretty straightforward. You need to collect parts for B-0031 by defeating nearby mechanical monsters. Two of them are dropped by random mobs scattered all over the area. However, the third one is kind of tricky to find, especially if you’re running all over the place.
The Secret Base Guard that drops the Eye Sensor has a 5 minute respawn timer and spawns on three different locations on Facility X-301. We have marked all of them in the image below. After that, keep reading to see how we tackled this quest and completed it much faster than others.
The drop is not guaranteed, which makes it even harder. That’s why we decided to form a party. Once in a party, if one gets the item, all of the others in the party should receive it, even if they don’t attack the mob. Ask for people who are looking for the same item and invite them to a party. Once in a party, instruct them to hold each spawn. Once the mob spawns, kill it. It may require a bit of effort in collecting the workforce, but it’s definitely the fastest way to do it.
