Lords of the Fallen 2, the upcoming action RPG sequel from CI Games, will have its full reveal next week during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Fans have been waiting since the original was announced, but it remained unseen until now.
CI Games CEO Marek Tyminski casually confirmed the reveal on X. The announcement follows a tease from Gamescom host Geoff Keighley, which many guessed would involve the Lords of the Fallen follow-up.

The first game, released in 2023, earned a solid reputation as one of the better Souls-like titles available. Expectations for the sequel are pretty high. The first game had its rough patches, but the improvements made since launch show the developers are committed to refining their work. Will Lords of the Fallen 2 live up to or surpass its predecessor? We’ll find out once the reveal happens at Gamescom.
As of now, the sequel is targeting a 2026 release. A specific release date may be announced during Opening Night Live, but it seems more likely the game will arrive later in the year.
