“Longer Than Call of Duty Campaign”, Christopher Judge Jokes At The Game Awards

Christopher Judge, famed for his role as Kratos in God of War, made a humorous remark at The Game Awards, playfully comparing the length of his previous year’s acceptance speech to the duration of the “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” campaign. This witty comment came as a self-referential nod to his lengthy remarks at last year’s awards, which had become a topic of amusement among attendees and social media.

Returning to the Game Awards stage this year to present an award, Judge was met with a playful prank. The event organizers cheekily played music as he started speaking, hinting at a need for brevity. With a laugh and feigned anger, the judge showed he was in on the joke.

“I get it,” Judge said to the audience, “I’m not going to stand up here making long speeches. I’m going to stick to the script, no eight-minute speech like last year.”

Then, with a twinkle in his eye, Judge delivered his quip: “But fun fact, my speech was actually longer than this year’s Call of Duty campaign.” This humorous comparison to the notably brief campaign of the recent “Call of Duty” installment was received with laughter and applause, showcasing Judge’s ability to engage the audience with his charm and wit.
