Liquid secured the World First Mythic kill on Midnight Falls, the final boss in World of Warcraft: Midnight‘s first season, and beat Echo in the process.
The finish came after a wild turn in the race on April 5, 2026, when Liquid pushed Midnight Falls to 0% and the encounter kept going instead of ending. We covered that strange moment in the earlier 0% push, and the follow-up made it clear the fight had a secret phase that nobody had seen coming.

For a race that already had a tense final stretch, this was a fitting finish. Liquid solved the last hurdle and walked away with the top spot after one of the more bizarre boss endings in recent World of Warcraft raid history.
