Electronic Arts previously confirmed Season 2 of Battlefield 6 will begin on February 17, 2026. On January 21, 2026 a cinematic trailer leak surfaced on China’s bilibili and has been shared more widely online. The leaked trailer names the first Season 2 map as Hagental Airbase. The clip also features a small helicopter and motorcycles, which appear to be part of the vehicle additions coming with Season 2.
The weapons added to the game files as part of the leak and related datamining are listed as the GRT-CPS (MSBS Grot), VCR-2 (VHS2), and M121 A2 (MG5). That slate of weapons was reported after files were examined and shared through the 1BF Telegram group and Reddit user ZamnBoii.
Datamines also surfaced a new gadget called the HTI-MK2, described in the game files as a hardware fire suppression system. The entry explains that once deployed the device identifies nearby electronic and explosive devices and can intercept missiles and destroy electronic equipment. Up to three devices can be activated.
The trailer leak spread first on bilibili and has been mirrored to other sites. A Streamable copy of the clip is circulating and can be viewed below.
EA and DICE have not yet posted the cinematic officially. For now the important takeaways are the name of the first new map, the arrival of several infantry weapons including the GRT-CPS, VCR-2, and M121 A2, a new HTI-MK2 gadget, and added vehicles such as a small helicopter and motorcycles ahead of Season 2 on February 17, 2026.
