Leak says God of War Ragnarok is the next PlayStation exclusive title to be ported on PC

The whispers of a PC release for God of War Ragnarök are growing louder with the data miner Billbil-kun hinting at a potential announcement. If the rumor is to become true, Sony plans to reveal the PC port at a PlayStation Showcase later this month. Is the second edition really coming to PC?

The tweet shared by billbil-kun can be found below:

Released in 2022 on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, God of War Ragnarök managed to sell 5.1 million sales in its debut week. The game then reached 11 million within ten weeks becoming Sony’s fastest-selling first-party title ever. As of November 2023, the game has sold a staggering 15 million copies.

A free DLC expansion, God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla, released last December, brought a replayable roguelike-inspired adventure that acted as an epilogue to the main game, blending God of War‘s signature combat with fresh elements.

As a fan of the series I am really excited about the PC series. Having followed Kratos’ journey since his debut on the PS2 I find it fulfilling that PC players might finally experience the amazing story of a father and son. Furthermore, the PlayStation Showcase which is rumored to be scheduled for later this month might also feature Silent Hill 2.
